Drivers face dalays during roadworks

TRAFFIC bosses have announced a raft of roadworks and diversions for the Stourbridge area.

From Tuesday May 29, three way signals will be in place at Wordsley High Street's junction with Brierley Hill Road for three weeks.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area during the work, which will mark the completion of a major improvement project at the junction.

Clinic Drive, Lye, will be closed on Thursday May 17 to allow power cable installation.

A diversion will be in place via Lye by-pass, Vicarage Road and Lye High Street.

Broad Street, Kingswinford, was closed on Monday May 14 until Friday May 18 while BT engineers change telephone poles.

During the work a diversion is in place via Cot Lane, Oak Street and Market Street.
