Bike crash teen named

POLICE have named the teenaged motorcyclist killed at Merry Hill.

Former Cradley High student Andrew Green died after his motorbike collided with a dropped-kerb in Station Drive at the centre on Friday May 18 at around 9.45pm.

The 17-year-old from Norwood Avenue, Cradley Heath, was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, but was pronounced dead at 10.40pm.

An inquest into his death was opened on Wednesday May 23 and adjourned for police enquiries to be carried out.
