YOUNG people from across the borough are being invited to talk about their wellbeing at a free Dudley mental health trust event.

Those aged 13 to 18 will also get the chance to find out more about Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust’s (DWMH) local services and how they can get involved.

At the event, taking place between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday (February 17) at Dudley College, there will also be interactive games, a graffiti board and a chance to win one of several prizes.

The trust will also be highlighting opportunities within it, including volunteering, work placements and apprenticeships.

Mark Axcell, acting chief executive at DWMH, said: “We are really excited to be holding our first ever Youth Forum this month.

“We want to involve young people in mental health and hear what wellbeing means to them, and make sure they know how to maintain their health.

“By running this type of event we hope to increase the involvement that young people have in local services.”
