THE latest outing from Hagley Theatre Group’s Youth Section will raise much-needed funds towards the re-development of Hagley Community Centre.

When the Curtain Falls is being performed nightly at Hagley Community Centre until Saturday April 30, with performances starting at 7.30pm.

Featuring songs from West End and Broadway musicals such as Les Miserables, Chicago, Matilda, Into the Woods, Wicked, The Producers, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Annie, the Sound of Music and many others - the show has been developed by the youth section leaders and is set in an abandoned theatre where various characters left behind come to life.

Tony Forrest, spokesman for the theatre group, said: “For those who enjoyed the Youth Section’s recent successes of Into the Woods, Grease and Les Miserables, they can be equally assured of a great night’s entertainment.”

Proceeds from the show will go towards the Community Hub (Chub) project to re-build Hagley Community Centre.

Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions) are available by calling 07907 457217 or from Paddock Butchers, West Hagley.
