Voting open in national newspaper awards with our appeal in line for top spot
VOTING will close today in the prestigious Society of Editors awards and the Stourbridge News is in the running for a top honour.
The News’s Well of Life appeal, which raised more than £12,000 to provide fresh water for the poverty-stricken Gambian village of Sintet, is on the shortlist in the Making a Difference category.
Readers can find out more and cast their vote here, voting is only open until Wednesday before the awards ceremony to mark Local Newspaper Week.
