BIG-hearted E.ON staff in Kingswinford are celebrating after playing a role in raising more than £260,000 for a national children’s charity.
Over the past two years, colleagues at the energy company have climbed mountains, cycled across continents, rattled collecting tins around offices and dressed up and down, all in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
Louise Haycock, who works in customer services at the company’s Kingswinford High Street office and is also a charity champion, said: “So many people have contributed to our fundraising efforts over the past couple of years in their own way.
“Whether that’s by running a marathon at the weekend, baking cakes to sell around the office or taking part in a sporting sweepstake.
“I’m delighted and very proud to know that together we’ve helped make a significant contribution to funding the great work carried out by Teenage Cancer Trust.”
