HAGLEY villagers are hoping their 2007 fete will be a big hit to build on the success of last year's event.
Hagley village fete is set for Saturday June 30 and organisers are boasting a host of activities and dozens of stalls.
Fete organiser Janet Richards said: "We have had a fantastic response from those who took part last year and we are welcoming some new participants, such as the Stourbridge RLNI and Sunfield.
"It's such a enjoyable way for the community to come together."
The fete will be officially opened at 2pm by Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride, following judging of the stalls and the children's fancy dress competition.
In addition to the many stalls and sideshows, visitors will be entertained by music from Hagley Primary School Choir, and Haybridge Soul band.
Newcomers to this year's line-up of entertainment will be Itchy Feet, an Appalachian dance group.
