A ROBBER threatened his victim with a screwdriver type implement during an incident when a woman's handbag was stolen.
The 18-year-old victim was walking with her 17-year-old sister along Newfield Road, Hagley, at approximately 8.45pm on Wednesday June 20, when a man got out of a grey or green Ford Focus car.
He threatened the victim, grabbed her bag and got back into the car and drove off.
The victim was not injured.
Her bag, described as a small cream/gold shiny leather-effect bag which is believed to have a broken chain, contained a small amount of cash and a bank card.
The man is described as white, in his late 20s, of skinny build, and of scruffy appearance, with a blond or ginger scruffy beard, and wearing a hooded top and jeans.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Bromsgrove CID on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
