TICKETS for some of the Black Country Living Museum's most popular events are now on sale.

Priority booking is now available for the Peaky Blinders night and the 1940s weekend, with members being entitled to a 20 per cent discount.

Members are also guaranteed event fast tracking, 25 per cent off for their friends and family for daytime visits, 20 per cent off food, drink and shopping and will also be treated to a series of exclusive behind the scenes experiences.

Included with membership is 12 months’ unlimited daytime entry to the museum, which includes access to a refreshed programme of atmospheric daytime events and activities.

This year, the museum is also introducing a number of daytime events including ‘Industrial Might’ , which runs from April 14-17, a ‘Steam Weekend’ from May 20-21 and a 40s-themed ‘Dig for Victory’ weekend, which will run from September 30-October 1.

Helen Bickley, the museum's development manager, said: “We’ve worked hard to develop a really attractive package for those who are thinking of joining us as members.

"Not only will you get discounted and priority access to events but throughout the year you’ll be able to book onto unique behind-the-scenes talks, tours and experiences.

"There’s even a chance to have an extended curator-led tour around the museum’s stores which house some 80,000 objects.”

Prices start from £30 a year for a single membership, going up to £65 a year for a large family (two adults and up to three children).
