CCTV has captured a suspect, thought to have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to houses and vehicles in Stourbridge.

Police received reports of 11 separate incidents of criminal damage on Hadcroft Grange, spanning from March 13 to May 2 this year.

These include car tyres being slashed, paint smeared and graffiti sprayed on residents' property, and smashed windows.

On each occasion multiple cars and houses have been targeted.

Some residents have now been targeted more than once, racking up thousands of pounds in repair costs.

Investigating officer PC Natalie Lees said: “We have deployed police officers to the area. We are examining CCTV footage and using other covert tactics.

“The suspect has been captured by a CCTV camera installed at one of the properties on the street. Although the quality is poor we have released this in a bid to identify the person responsible.

“I would ask anyone who has any information regarding these incidents to call the police non-emergency number 101.”
