A MAN was taken to hospital yesterday evening (Sunday, August 13) after a fight broke out in a Stourbridge street.
Emergency services were called to Heath Street just after 8pm last night following reports of an assault.
West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene, where fighting was going on outside an address, alongside a trio of police cars.
Paramedics treated a 36-year-old man for head, shoulder and ankle injuries which he suffered in the incident, and provided him with pain relief before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
An ambulance service spokesman said the incident “doesn’t appear to be a domestic”.
A West Midlands Police Service spokesman said: “Police were called to Heath Street in Stourbridge at around 8.10pm last night to reports of disorder.
“A car was damaged and a man sustained minor injuries after being punched.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
