BLACK Country bands will be out in force later this month in support of Brierley Hill based charity The Paul Ackrill Fund.
The Tympaniks, punk, ska and rock band Three Legs Forward plus soul and blues group Toothless and Ruthless will all be performing at Stourbridge's Green Duck Brewery in Rufford Road on Saturday, September 23.
The charity supports young cancer sufferers and all three bands will be appearing free of charge.
Organiser Aimee Hipkiss, whose brother Matt Nightingale was one of Paul Ackrill's best friends, said: "The Green Duck Brewery is an up and coming venue in Stourbridge, although it only opens a couple of times a week.
"We're all from the Lakeside area and know Paul Ackrill's family really well. We're hoping to raise plenty of money for them and there will be raffles and other items taking place on the night."
Headline act The Tympaniks comprises of doctors who are based at the City Hospital in Birmingham.
Tickets cost £10 and can be obtained in advance through the charity or people can pay on the door.
The event starts at 7.30pm.
