STOURBRIDGE fans are being urged to dig deep into their pockets this weekend as the town’s football club host a day of fundraising.
Before the first team’s match on Saturday (September 23) against Lancaster, Stourbridge FC are running a junior football club day at the War Memorial Ground.
From 1.30pm various events and activities will be taking place to help raise money for the club’s individual youth sides.
The junior players and coaches will be setting up stalls at the event, as well as hosting raffles, boot sales and penalty shootouts as part of their fundraising bid.
Andy Bullingham, Stourbridge FC vice-chairman, said: “We would like to see as many people down the club on Saturday to support our future footballing stars.”
