AN ARRAY of ex-stock and donated books will be up for grabs at a sale at Kinver Community Library this weekend.
As well as being offered for bargain prices of 50p, the books will also be ‘buy one get one free’ at the event on Saturday (February 10).
Katherine Dixson, spokesman for the library, which recently celebrated its first anniversary of being run by the community, said: “There’s something for everyone, with a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, specialist titles and children's books. Come and have a rummage!”
The sale will run during the library’s normal Saturday opening hours of 9.15am until 1pm.
A Cryptic Crossword Club is also being launched at the Vicarage Drive library on Wednesday mornings from 9.30am until 11am.
Places at the group, which will be dedicated to crosswords, socialising and coffee, do not need to be booked and costs £1 per session, including a free hot drink and biscuits.
Katherine added: “Whether you're a complete beginner or an expert from whom we can learn a thing or two, we'd love to see you.”
