A 24-YEAR-OLD has been arrested after a crash in Amblecote saw a car burst into flames.
The man was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent after it smashed into a parked car on Collis Street, just before 8am today (Thursday).
He is currently in police custody.
Ten firefighters arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze and make the scene safe.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said paramedics also attended at the request of the fire service but found no patients to treat.
