A MAN has pleaded not guilty to a string of charges relating to an incident on a Netherton pub car park.
Police were called to The Woodman in Saltwells Road at around 8.45pm on May 6 after receiving reports that a car had collided with a fence and a man was waving a knife at members of the public.
Alan Joyce was arrested at the scene and later charged with two counts of possessing a knife in a public place, three counts of criminal damage - amounting to £3,600 - and two counts of affray.
The 44-year-old, of High Street, Lye, denied all charges when he appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Tuesday, June 5).
He has been remanded in custody until his trial on October 29, which is expected to last for three days.
