A VISITOR from the other side of the Atlantic is part of a newly-formed Bishopric in Brierley Hill.
New Bishop Gordon Amison has been joined by two counsellors at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – local resident John McArthur and an American, Elder Wayne Torgerson, from Utah.
Mr Torgerson and his wife are serving in the UK as volunteer missionaries for 18 months.
The Christian church, on Waterfall Road, is open to everyone, and all are welcome to attend services on Sundays from 10am to 1pm.
