THE first feline fundraiser of 2008 is being staged by the Stourbridge and District Branch of Cats Protection on Saturday January 26 when the doors open on its Grand January Sale.
The event, at the Oakfield Centre, Brettell Lane, Stourbridge, from 2pm, will feature books, bric-a-brac, toys, jewellery, white elephant, jumble and lots more.
There will be refreshments and the opportunity to find out more about the work of the charity.
Rob Hall, PR officer for the Stourbridge branch, said: "We are a local charity run entirely by volunteers. All of the money that we need to look after the needy cats and kittens in our care has to be raised in the local community."
Anyone with anything to donate should ring the fund-raising office on 01384 872151 before Saturday or drop items off at the centre after noon on Saturday.
