HAGLEY Police are on the hunt for a stolen bird of prey after it was stolen from a private garden in Halesowen.
The harris hawk bird, worth £300, was taken from its aviary in the back garden of a home in Redhill Place, Hunnington, between 4pm on Thursday January 31 and 9am on Friday February 1.
Pc Mike Roberts of Hagley Police said: "It is a rare and protected bird and potentially dangerous in the wrong hands.
"Anyone with information or who may have been offered one for sale should contact Hagley Police on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
