Improvements to nature reserve

VISITORS to a borough nature reserve will soon be able to gain better access, following the completion of a new footpath.

The pathway which opens at Saltwells Nature Reserve on Friday February 22 will provide a safer route into the reserve for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Councillor Charles Fraser Macnamara, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: "The new path is just one initiative in an ongoing programme of improvements."
