DUDLEY Council is looking for teenagers to form a children's panel, who would be responsible for allocating £338,000 to borough projects.
Dudley has secured the funding from the government and needs young people, aged between 13 -19 years-old, to decide which projects in the borough that provide the best things to do and places to go' deserve the cash.
Councillor Liz Walker, cabinet member for children's services, said: "Members of the panel will receive full training and support on how to assess applications and decide how the funding should be given out.
"There will be an opportunity to take part in team building, residential trips and social events.
"It is a great chance to gain valuable experience and young people involved will receive recognition and accreditation for their work."
Any teenager interested in joining the panel should attend a meeting on Tuesday (February 19) from 6pm until 8pm at The Savoy Centre, Northfield Road, Netherton.
