A GUIDED walk across the Clent Hills giving people chance to discover the art of water dowsing takes place this weekend.
The National Trust owned beauty spot is hosting the Strictly Come Dowsing event on Sunday November 16 giving members of the public chance to learn about the basics of dowsing.
The walk will be led by Fay Palmer, a registered practitioner with the British Society of Dowsers, who will show walkers how dowsing is used in the location of earth energy features.
Trekkers will also get chance to try out dowsing tools, L-rods and pedulums.
Tamsin Mosse, the National Trust’s community links officer says: “Many people will be familiar with dowsing, solely from the image of water dowsing using a hazel stick in the shape of a Y.
“However, as Fay will demonstrate, there is much more to it.
“The walk is designed to be an engaging, fun experience and a chance for people to have a go themselves.”
The walk starts at the Nimmings Wood car park at 11am and lasts for about two hours.
Places must be pre-booked in advance and cost £5 per person.
To book or for more details call Tamsin Mosse on 01562 712822.
