Conquer spider fears at Dudley Zoo

DUDLEY residents scared of spiders are urged to attend a workshop at Dudley Zoo next week.

The eight-legged creatures will be the focus of an Arachnophobia Workshop at the zoo on Sunday, September 20.

Marketing assistant Louise Curtis, said: "The workshop will help people to conquer their fear of spiders by discovering the truth and reality about these harmless creatures.

"The workshop will be a relaxed, informal discussion and education session, without the use of hypnosis.

"For members of the group who feel comfortable at the end of the session, we will introduce some different species of spiders."

A spider expert will lead the three-hour group workshop, which starts at 10.30am.
