DUDLEY homeowners are being urged to watch a two-minute video about how to secure your home and deter thieves.
The informative film, by West Midlands Police, gives 10 quick tips on how to keep homes safe, including locking windows and doors, using timer switches and alarms and planting spiky plants in your garden.
Chief Inspector Darren Walsh said: "In the same way that we need our communities to follow the top 10 tips, we also need them to tell us if they know of anyone committing these crimes. If anyone has any information or would like to speak to police, please use the non-emergency number 101 or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111."
