FOLLOWING their successful summer at Himley Hall and Stourbridge Carnival, the organisers of a popular vintage and retro fair have announced a new event.
Kiki and Honey will be hosting a day of vintage, vinyl and crafts at The Ruskin Mill Glass Centre, in Amblecote, on Sunday September 27 from 11am until 4pm.
In addition to the glass centre’s existing attractions, fair organisers Ella Gardiner (Honey) and Maria Kaye (Kiki) will be bringing more than thirty stalls offering a variety of one-off and handmade items.
The centre will also open its organic cafe for the day, feeding visitors a range of treats from tea and cake to home-cooked lunches, as well as a pop-up bar serving real ale to thirsty shoppers.
There will be crafting opportunities for adults and children, with sandblaster Kevin Barry offering children the chance to see their own designs etched onto glass, while crochet expert Claire Daniel will be hosting a craft lounge where crochet novices can learn the skill.
Music fans will be catered for with a selection of record traders and DJs from local vinyl nights will be DJing while shoppers browse.
All profits made by the centre on the day will go towards the running of college, which works with students who have additional educational needs.
Entrance to the fair costs £1 for adults and is free for children. For more information email kikiandhineyretroandvintage@gmail.com
