The next meeting of the Amblecote History Society will take place on Wednesday 9th September starting at 7.30pm in the Lehr Theatre at The Ruskin Centre in Amblecote.
The speaker will be superb local raconteur, John Sparry, who will be adopting the theme of a “Being a Time Traveller” to explore and present in his own inimitable style, a range of historical events that have taken place over the Centuries. This is sure to be a popular event so mark your diaries now.
Visitors are always most welcome at a small admission charge of £2 on the door.
The society meets on every second Wednesday of the month and enjoys a varied programme with outdoor meetings during the summer months.
