A DUDLEY MP is to host her fourth university fair with the hope of inspiring the young people of the borough to fulfil their potential.
Margot James, MP for Stourbridge, will hold her ‘Universities Outreach Event’ on Friday April 29 at the Glasshouse College in Amblecote.
The university fair-style event is part of the MP’s ‘raising aspirations’ programme, which gives young people the chance to participate in a series of workshops, seminars and networking fairs.
Ms James said: “Whether going to university, becoming an apprentice or training for a job, I want everyone thinking about their future career to fulfil their potential.
“I am very much looking forward to meeting local students and parents at this event, which I hope will be incredibly helpful for them.”
The event will take place from 5pm until 7pm and will be a chance for students to network with a number of leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham, Lancaster and Southampton.
