The group continue celebrating ‘ Fabulous at forty’ with an exhibition and floral displays depicting forty years history of the group, the varied programme at our meetings and our proud record of charity fundraising.
We have raised an average of £1000 each year over recent years which is a wonderful achievement considering our small membership. We hold events to raise money such as jewellery sales, fashion shows, jumble sales, floral demonstrations etc.
Our current project is for Prostrate Cancer. We have previously made donations to CHADD [abused partners], the Autistic Society, Mary Stevens Hospice, Sunfield Children’s Home, Dyspraxia, Moebius, The White House Cancer Support Group and many more.
We especially hope to welcome back past members to our celebrations which will take place on Friday 7 and Saturday October 8 from 2-5pm. Our visitors will also be served Afternoon Tea.
All are welcome to enjoy this trip back to 1976.
