BELBROUGHTON villagers will be opening a new Diamond Jubilee Meeting Room at Belbroughton Recreation Centre, off Hartle Lane, to celebrate the Queen’s 60-year reign.
District councillor Janice Boswell, Bromsgrove District Council’s new civic head, will open the new facility on Monday June 4 at 11am.
Recreation centre committee members hope the new venue which includes WiFi, kitchen and WC facilities and disabled access, will be used for business meetings, training sessions, social club events and children’s parties.
