A BLAKEDOWN couple will be revving up their classic car to take part in a countryside tour.
Jonathan and Christine Clark will get behind the wheel of their classic1957 MGA Roadster for the annual Mac Classic event tomorrow.
More than 150 classic motors will take part in the extravaganza, organised by the Midland Automobile Club, which will culminate with a drive up the track of Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb, near Stourport.
Event organiser Tony Harrison said: “April 22 is also national Drive-it-Day where all owners of classic cars are being encouraged to dust them off and take them out for a spin, so we are hoping that many of these people will take the opportunity to come along and join in the day, which promises to have a relaxed and carnival atmosphere.”
