A BRIERLEY Hill supermarket is calling on generous shoppers to help raise funds for breast cancer charities.

Asda staff marked the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month by wearing pink to work and informing shoppers of the exclusive Tickled Pink products available in store.

The supermarket has also launched a range of Tickled Pink headscarves and post-surgery lingerie and swimwear, with 10 per cent of sales from both ranges going to Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care.

Michelle Edwards, the store's community life champion, said: “Asda has a long and proud history of supporting breast cancer awareness month through our own Ticked Pink campaign, which has been going for more than18 years and helped to raise more than £40million for both these amazing breast cancer charities.

“We hope the people of Brierley Hill can get fully behind our fundraising campaign as we all know someone or a family that has been affected by cancer.

"So much can be achieved when a community comes together to support each other.”
