FOLLOWING the success of a recent Soul and Motown night at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, an additional event has been added this Friday night (September 9).

Dancers and soul fans from across the borough are being welcomed to the ‘Ultimate’ event which will feature a large stage lighting show and big screen videos.

James Challis, from Dudley CVS, the charity which runs the civic hall, said: “We’re looking forward to having Ultimate Entertainment’s Soul and Motown nights back at Brierley Hill Civic, following the success of the August event.

“The hall has a big dancefloor, with a video DJ using double screens along with a great light show.”

Ultimate DJ Andy Tain said: “I am really looking forward to the Friday’s event and hope for a bigger crowd of great people coming along and enjoying themselves.

“Ultimate get chance to really put on a big event show due to the size of the room. The people who don’t like dancing can come along and enjoy the classic soul from Tamla Motown plus much more with a hint of northern.

“Not forgetting the Dudley CVS charity also benefit too.”

Following on from this Friday’s event, which sees doors open at 7.30 pm, Ultimate will be holding ‘Decades’ evenings, including retro to current music, on the next three Fridays (September 16, 23 and 30).
