FUNDRAISERS in Brierley Hill are hoping for help to get Santa on the road for their Christmas charity drive.
The annual sleigh collection by Stourbridge and Brierley Hill Round Table has been brought to a standstill while the organisation looks for a volunteer to tow Santa’s vehicle for this year’s tour.
Round Table chairman Charlie Wallis said: “We’ve had great support over the years from local companies in providing Santa with a tow vehicle to pull the sleigh.
“In these recessionary times, we have not yet been able to secure the loan of a vehicle for Santa, and would therefore appeal to anyone who could provide a vehicle to let us know if you can help”.
Anyone who can help the group, who last year raised £2,000 for good causes in the region, should call Charlie on 07896 124987 or Dave Tranter on 0777 554 1308.
