FASHIONISTAS in for a treat this weekend as the fashion event of the season comes to Merry Hill.

Sharp-tongued Dancing on Ice judge and This Morning stylist Jason Gardiner and TV hairdresser Andrew Barton will be hosting the spring fashion spectacular on Saturday March 6 - and giving out their style tips, while top model agency scouts will be on the lookout for the next catwalk queen.

The event will include an array of trend showcases, fashion workshops and hair and beauty sessions including on-stage makeovers.

Visitors will also be able to experience a bareMinerals make-under by complexion experts, get their own colour assessments from image consultants and check out some of the products on offer at beauty retailers such as Debenhams and Dove Spa.

Merry Hill spokesman Jemma Hill said: “It will be an unmissable event for anybody interested in fashion packed with top fashion tips for all ages - from key trend-led looks for spring 2010 to easy-styling techniques.

“Jason Gardiner will preview hot new trends. Shoppers can even have their say with Jason in the Q&A session.

“If that’s not enough, the world-famous Storm Model agency will be model scouting from 11am to 4pm.”

The action starts at 11am in Fountain Square, on the lower mall outside M&S.
