A CHEEKY Brierley Hill entrepreneur who offended the BBC Dragon’s Den investors with his Black Country humour has had the last laugh after they rejected his product.

John Richardson appeared on the programme trying to get investment for his organic botox style face cream but the multi-millionaires tried to humiliate him after he cracked a few jokes.

However, the 39-year-old attracted his own investment and now his Richibrown Organic Natox is for sale across the world and his company has a £3m turnover.

He said: “The Dragons were scathing and simply didn’t seem to understand the science behind Natox and they certainly did not get my Black Country humour.

“They rejected my 42 pages of research without reading it properly and only realised it was clinically-tested at the end once it was too late.”

He added: “The reaction I got from the Dragons could have left most people on the floor but not me - I was so convinced in my product that it spurred me on all the more to prove them wrong.

“It was a massive struggle to raise the investment I needed to launch the business but now I do not have to share it with anyone.“ He added: “In the end they did me a favour. The Dragons said no, but the world is saying yes.”

The cream uses organic ingredients to create the same effect as Botox but without the need for needles. It has been clinically proven to be a safe, effective and painless alternative to cosmetic procedures.

John is busy preparing for the grand opening of his first Richibrown Experience shop in Brierley Hill High Street in November.

He said: “My product is now in 18 countries and I’m due to launch extra products off the back of it later this year and I’m so glad that I’m not having to share my success and profits with the Dragons, they really lost out on this one.”

John is delighted to be flying all over the world selling his face cream but home is where the heart is.

He said: “It really is wonderful having my cream for sale in Australia and jetting all over the place doing business deals but I love coming back and I can’t wait to launch plenty more beauty products at my new shop in Brierley Hill.”
