A CHADDESLEY Corbett hotel has earned a hat-trick of accolades in the 2014 AA Restaurant Guide.

The restaurant at Brockencote Hall Country House Hotel has been awarded three AA Rosettes in the guide, one of the organisation’s most prestigious accolades for food, with just 10 per cent of the restaurants listed in it holding three Rosettes and above.

Brockencote Hall has also won AA Inspectors’ Choice/4 Red Stars for accommodation. The AA identifies the highest performing hotels in Britain as the Inspectors’ Choice, denoted by Red Stars.

Brockencote Hall is part of the Eden Hotel Collection, seven upmarket boutique hotels across the Midlands, the Cotswolds and the South West.

General manager Dean Gunston said: “The team at Brockencote Hall are absolutely delighted to have won these AA awards.

“Since reopening last year, our aim has been to restore Brockencote Hall to its former glory and create a classic, high-end dining and accommodation destination for both local residents and visitors to the county.”

For head chef Adam Brown, winning three AA Rosettes is a personal triumph. He said: “Food is at the heart of the Eden Hotel Collection and at Brockencote Hall we are always looking at exciting new combinations and innovative techniques.”

Mr Brown will defend his title in the Battle of Eden competition in October, when the group’s seven head chefs compete to win over the hearts, stomachs and votes of their guests for the honour of being crowned top chef.

The AA awards cap a good 2013 for Brockencote Hall. After winning Hotel of the Year at the Worcestershire Welcome Awards, followed by Mr Brown scooping Visionary Chef of the Year with Visionary Dining, the hotel was highly commended in the Visit England 2013 Awards for Small Hotel of the Year.
