IT was hair today, gone tomorrow for a Chaddesley Corbett woman who chopped off her long locks for charity.

Juliette Costanzo had her 19-inch-long hair cut at The Salon at Chaddesley and raised £500 for Help for Heroes.

It is a charity close to her heart, as her boyfriend Wesley Painter was in the Army and his two brothers and sister are currently serving.

Generous Miss Costanzo also donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, which helps makes wigs and hairpieces for children with cancer.

She said: “My hair has always been long. I was nervous about cutting it but I did love the outcome in the end.“I fancied a bit of a change and when I found out I could donate my hair – that pushed me in the direction to do it.”
