HAGLEY artists are adding a touch of glass to their latest exhibition by hosting the event at a site steeped in history.
The 2012 summer show by Hagley Art Club is on at the Red House Glass Cone in Wordsley, which was once at the heart of the region's glass manufacturing industry.
The exhibition by artists from the club, which has more than 75 members and is in its 23rd year, features paintings and drawings in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel.
The show is open at the cone every day until Wednesday August 8 from 10am to 4pm.
Hagley Art Club meets on the second Friday of every month at St Saviour's Church Hall, Park Road, and hosts a weekly painting circle at Churchill Village Hall.
