HAGLEY book fans are reminded they can air their views on the future of the village library at a meeting next week.
The Worcester Road library is under threat of closure as Worcestershire County Council attempts to save £2.4m by April.
Library users and residents are invited to voice their concerns at a meeting taking place at 7.30pm on Wednesday March 12 at Saviours Church Hall, Worcester Road, which will be attended by officers from the county council and parish councillors.
A working party will be set up after the meeting to look at options for the library – which could be replaced by a mobile library service or transferred into the hands of Hagley Parish Council.
