HAGLEY’S 12th Viscount Cobham has given a boost to a Worcestershire choir after being announced as their new patron.

Chris Lyttelton, commonly known as Lord Cobham, has agreed to take on the role of patron of Kidderminster Male Choir.

Representatives from the choir said they were delighted that Viscount Cobham had accepted the invitation to join their ranks.

A spokesman for Kidderminster Male Choir said: “Kidderminster Male Choir is overwhelmed that the Viscount Cobham has agreed to be the choir’s new patron.

“Viscount Cobham is one of the most respected members of the Worcestershire community and to have him associated with KMC is a wonderful honour’.”

“2016 will also be a busy year for the choir with a number of performances already booked.

“Despite his very busy schedule we hope to welcome Viscount Cobham and his family at some of the concerts.”
