HAGLEY Park will be bustling with street theatre acts which are being laid on next month to keep youngsters entertained during the summer holiday.

Angie Mack will be wowing onlookers with her Hula Hoop Show and popular performers Bell and Bullock will be presenting their Cabin Fever act on Thursday August 4.

The shows, running from 11am to 3pm, have been organised by Bromsgrove District Council to help provide summer fun for all the family during the six-week break.

Street theatre events will also be taking place at Wythall Park, Catshill Meadow, Brosmgrove Recreation Ground and Rubery St Chad’s Park up until August 11.

There will be children’s activities at the events too, including face painting, pony rides, animal mania and more.

Val Wilson, arts and events officer for Bromsgrove District Council, said: “Street Theatre gets more and more popular each year.

“This year’s acts look set to wow the crowds with daredevil tricks, magic and plenty of comedy.”
