HAGLEY residents were being invited to join homeowners and staff at the village’s Sanderson Court for a very vintage affair.
A vintage tea party will take place at McCarthy and Stone’s retirement living development, in Park Road, between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesday (April 12).
Guests can enjoy a glass of fizz, as well as a selection of snacks, alongside a raffle and a number of fundraising activities as they raise money for older people’s charity, Royal Voluntary Service.
The celebrations are taking place to mark McCarthy and Stone’s 40th anniversary and to honour the milestone, throughout 2017 the house building company is partnering with Royal Voluntary Service.
The vintage tea party at Sanderson Court is one of the first of a series of events planned for the year, with the aim of raising over £130,000 to support the charity’s projects across the West Midlands, and the rest of the country.
Shelley Morewood, sales executive at Sanderson Court, said: “We are really looking forward to hosting our vintage tea party in aid of Royal Voluntary Service.
“It is a fantastic cause and we are committed to helping the charity continue its work enriching the lives of older people and their families through volunteers.
“All are welcome and it should be a fantastic event.”
