As usual the guild met in Kingswinford Community Centre on the second Monday in the month.

Members were handed envelopes in which to put their annual subscription.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read accepted and signed. Joy Williams was welcomed as the latest new member. The minutes of the federation meeting were read and discussed. Members were asked questions concerning the future of federation events. Events in the pipeline were read out, and names were taken for the quiz team.

Events to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the community centre was announced. Thanks were expressed by Mary Stevens Hospice for the blankets delivered there .

The Wednesday club is currently knitting more. Donations of odds and ends of double knitting yarn would be grate fully accepted. The speaker was Dave Wilkins aka Big Dave, who gave us very amusing but thought provoking talk about his years in the police force. He was thanked by Chris Moy. Washing up volunteers were Josie and Joyce.

The raffle was won by Joy Williams and Doreen Comley. Brenda Greenaway was thanked for bringing flowers to brighten the room.

The next meeting will be on March 9 and will be the AGM.
