PUBGOERS will be lending their support to a Kingswinford teenager who suffered an almost life ending brain haemorrhage, at an upcoming harvest festival.

The Bridge Pub, in Moss Grove, is holding the festival this Sunday (September 27), from 4pm, in a bid to raise money for local girl Elle-Mae Davidson.

Elle-Mae was tragically struck down with the life-altering condition three years ago and has undergone a number of rehabilitation methods since.

Event organiser and Black Country fundraiser, Cedric Grove, is a friend of Elle-Mae’s grandmother and said he wants to help the family anyway he can.

He said: “I know what the whole of Elle-Mae’s family have been going through and it must have been so tough for them.

“I just want to help raise money towards her trust fund. The fund is collecting money to send her to Switzerland for Stem Cell treatment.

“We hope the rest of the Kingswinford community will help by making harvest donations to be sold at the festival. Items such as tined food, fruit or vegetables will be acceptable.”
