KINGSWINFORD METHODIST CHURCH: The church celebrates its 50th Birthday on June 18. To commemorate the anniversary we will be holding a Flower Festival on June 17/18/19 together with a concert starring Jean Martyn (of Britain's Got Talent fame) on June 18. Tickets for the concert are priced at £10 and can be obtained by ringing 838863 or on the door. The Sunday services on June 19 will be taken by Dr Jocelyn Bryan, a former Sunday School scholar and lecturer at Durham University.
The premises are in constant use throughout the week by many groups of all ages and are in need of refurbishment so all monies raised will go towards the funds needed for this work.
