MIRCALES will be the theme for the upcoming flower festival at the oldest church in the borough.

This weekend, a number of floral arrangements will be displayed around St Mary’s Church in Kingswinford as part of the ‘Miraculum’ festival.

Visitors to the 12th century church will be able to see the displays between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (July 9) and 11.30am until 4pm on Sunday (July 10).

Lis Corfield, church member, said: “There will be dozens of beautiful arrangements inside the church, showcasing the talents of our local flower arrangers.”

Also on offer for visitors will be stalls selling homemade produce, tombolas and refreshments.

Entrance to the church at the weekend is free, with a £1 charge for a programme.
