A 35-YEAR-OLD Kingswinford man has been warned he is facing a substantial spell behind bars after he bought two guns.
Sadaqat Ali pleaded guilty to two charges of purchasing a prohibited firearm - two Bruni gap 9mm pistols.
Ali, of Madeley Road, further admitted buying ammunition when he appeared via the prison video link at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Jermal Simpson, of Glentworth Gardens, Bushbury, Wolverhampton, denied two charges of selling or transferring prohibited guns and also selling ammunition.
Simpson, aged 24, pleaded guilty to possessing a lock knife in Moss Grove, Kingswinford, and he was remanded on conditional bail until April 10.
Judge Amjad Nawaz further remanded Sadaqat in custody and told him he would be sentenced at the end of Simpson's trial.
But he warned Sadaqat he had admitted serious charges and the only possible sentence was a substantial term of imprisonment.
