At the July meeting Mark Clifford from the Avoncroft Museum spoke on The Development of a Nailer’s Cottage. Mark told the story of a Nailer’s Cottage on Old Birmingham Road built in 1840, and lived in until abandoned in 2008, and more recently rebuilt at the Museum. He spoke of the work of a nail maker and the families who had lived there.
