The speaker for the March meeting was Rosemary Winnal, who gave a really professional presentation, with clever use of magnificent slides and videos.

Her subject was Garden wildlife, her own garden being a charming combination of both formal aspects, and wild areas devoted to the encouragement of all manner of insect, bird and even large mammal life such as badgers.

The photography brought out the incredible beauty of many of our indigenous species—dragonflies, butterflies and micro-moths for example.

Such is the careful growing regime that she utilises, there is splendour in her garden at all times of the year.

Gerald Wood was rightfully appreciative of her talk as \he proposed the thanks.
