When the ladies met on a drizzly Monday evening , little did they know that they were going on a tour of the splendours of the Midlands, Ian Bott , our guest speaker, with the aid of he’s brilliant slide show, took us from the glory of the Cotswolds to the stunning views of Iron bridge. Stopping off at Castles, Stately homes and teashops in between.
March 21 will bring us even more interesting sights and information, as Max Keen tells us all about King Alfred the Great.
This is an open event hosted by Kinver WI, at the KCSA to include a fish and chip supper. I am informed there are a few tickets left, contact through our web site www.kinver - villagewi.co.uk
Our ladies, always open to a lunch out, will be visiting the Beacon Centre on the 23, which brings us almost to the new month.
April 13, Peg Loom Weaving with Eira Walters.
If you would like to join us, 7.30pm at the Senior Citizen’s Hall, you will be made very welcome.
